Speaker Bios
Dr. Alicia Wong
Alicia Wong serves as the Women's Ministry Specialist at Lifeway. She has also served as a missionary with IMB and NAMB and has been teaching in seminaries, local churches, and on the mission field regarding topics related to Ministry to Women, Counseling, and Missions for over 25 years. She also serves as the Associate Professor of Women’s Ministry at Gateway Seminary in Ontario, CA. She holds an M.A. in Intercultural Studies and Christian Counseling, M.Div. and a Doctorate in Education. Her passion is to see women be firmly rooted in biblical truth, built up in Christ, and established in their faith in order that they may share the good news with others to the ends of the earth.
Dawn Stephens
Dawn has been involved in women’s ministry in both volunteer and staff positions for many years. She is the Women’s Minister at The Church at Brook Hills, in Birmingham, Alabama. Her desire is to train, equip, and encourage women to use their God-given gifts and abilities to show Christ’s love and grace to our world. She graduated from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Women’s Ministry certificate program, has served on the Alabama Baptist State Women’s Ministry leadership team, and serves as a LifeWay Women’s Trainer. She is a contributing author to Transformed Lives Taking Women’s Ministry to the Next Level. She is married to Greg and has one son, Tyler. They make their home in Birmingham, Alabama.
Rachel Lovingood
Rachel has been doing ministry with her husband Jeff for over 35 years and they have 3 grown children who are married to fabulous people. She is Ray Ray to her 6+ grands. Rachel is an author and teacher with a knack for teaching Biblical truths in a simple, fun, relevant way so that they can be applied to everyday life. Her passion is to see lives transformed by the Word of God which happens when Scripture is applied to our lives. Rachel has served as a Women’s Ministry leader at her various home churches over the years.
Delaney Degelow
Delaney is a passionate follower of Jesus who is currently serving on staff at Long Hollow Church with Young Adults. She loves helping others feel a part of something bigger than themselves and desires for everyone to feel seen, known, and loved! She has been in ministry for ten years and is so thankful for every moment and every person who has been part of that journey. Delaney enjoys Diet Coke, cheering for the Tennessee Vols, eating Mexican food, and spending time with her Bulldog, Mae, and her cat, Annie. She is so excited to meet you!
