How do we live out the Christian faith in everyday life? How do we navigate questions about ourselves, our neighbors, and the world around us? What does it look like to live as believers in a world that often challenges our beliefs? Christian ethics is applying the knowledge of God to our actions, attitudes, and personal character in a way that brings honor and glory to God. In this course, learn how to approach the questions of ethics and Christian life through a framework of Scripture and God's good design.

Session 1: Introduction to Christian Ethics | Lauren McAfee
While it may seem like a lofty, academic term, ethics is extremely practical. In this course, we will look at how we apply our knowledge of God and His teachings in our everyday lives in small and big ways. (19 minutes)
Session 2: A Biblical Framework for Ethics | Dr. Eunice J. Chung
In this session, Eunice shows us how the Bible speaks to our ethics, providing a framework through which we can view all ethical questions. (42 minutes)
Session 3: Ethical Frameworks | Lauren McAfee
In this session, Lauren covers the history and development of moral reasoning, branches of ethics, common ethical frameworks, and other significant ideologies. (25 minutes)
Session 4: Personal Life | Missie Branch
In the rest of the sessions, we will discuss applied ethics—how we apply the biblical framework to our everyday lives and create guidelines and guardrails to make decisions and build relationships. (29 minutes)
Session 5: Social Ethics | Missie Branch
In this lecture, Missie teaches on social ethics, the principles that focus on the community, society, and our responsibility toward each other. (37 minutes)
Session 6: Sexual Issues | Dr. Sherelle Duckworth
In this lecture, Sherelle seeks to provide students with a Christian sexual ethic and framework to help answer questions of gender and sexuality prevalent in our culture today. (37 minutes)
