Course Outline
Session 1: Introduction | Jen Wilkin
We are all called and commanded to teach the Bible. It is important and helpful for women to see other women teaching the Bible, so that they can have the example, the empathetic authority, and the perspective of women on the Bible and Christian living. The way we teach also matters—we need to teach our students (whether one or many) to think, learn, and work on their own. You can teach the Bible! (45 minutes)
Session 2: Approaches to Teaching | Andrea Lennon
In this session, Andrea will examine five approaches to teaching, also known as teaching styles. She will discuss each style's strengths and challenges, as well as asking effective questions. (36 minutes)
